神哀矜七端
第一端：解人疑惑

「種子是天主的話⋯⋯那落在好地裡的，是指那些以善良和誠實的心傾聽的人，他們把這話保存起來，以堅忍結出果實。」（路8:11,15)

 畫中的景象看似是一個複雜圖案，其實畫面可以分析成由兩個常見的比例分割，分別是二份一和黃金比例。解人疑惑連接簡單易明的真相和看起來讓人費解的表象，提出一個分析過程，而非知識階級。

楊承謙2010年文學士（榮譽）畢業於香港中文大學，主修藝術，2012年於英國雷丁大學獲得藝術碩士。

  Seven Spiritual Works of Mercy

1^st “Instruct the Ignorant ”

Complex the pattern in the painting may appear, it can be analytically reduced to simple divisions with two of the most common proportions, namely halves and the golden ration. To instruct the ignorant often involves bridging simple and understandable truth with complicatedly perceived scenarios. The process of addressing analytical truth is seen as the dismissal of ignorance as against elevating the ignorant up a knowledge hierarchy.
