「我作客,你們收留了我。」(瑪25:35)

形哀矜第四端-收留旅人:區分了室內和室外。我透過用牆壁遮光,確立了室內與室外的空間。白天時,室內環境較暗,而旅人在陽光中行走。這個安排是為了顯示陽光在我心目中的神聖性。因此,在述說室內室外的故事時,選擇了白天的時間點。我希望描繪無家的狀態時,能維持有家者與無家者的平衡。

The Seven Corporal Works of Mercy
4th “Shelter the homeless”

“I was a stranger and you made me welcome.” (Mt 25:35)
4th Corporal Work of Mercy, harbor the harborless, defined space, which I see as “shelter”, and another space which I see as “non-shelter”. In my painting, the wall tells the story between shelter and non-shelter by blocking sunlight. The shelter blocked sunlight and created darkness. On the contrary, the homeless (in the form of a cat) walks in sunlight, and is being invited to the darkness. I believe in the Holiness of sunlight. Therefore, I depicted the spatial relationship of shelter and non-shelter in daylight. I wish to depict the state of homelessness in a balanced composition.
